Product description Functional description 3.3.1 Ion exchange process The softliQ water softener works according to the ion exchange process. The exchange of calcium and magnesium ions for sodium ions causes the water to become soft. Figure Explanation The exchanger contains ion exchanger resin in the form of small resin beads.

Pseudomonads 3.3.3 Intelligence of the softliQ:PA water softener A regeneration is released, if at least 50% of the current system capacity is used up. The point of regeneration automatically is placed in a time period where usually little water is consumed.
Product description Features 3.4.1 Electronically controlled blending unit The electronically controlled blending unit automatically regulates the ratio between fully softened and at the same time hygienically treated water and only hygienically treated water. The regulation is subject to the raw and soft water hardness programmed in the control. 3.4.2 Pre-alarm salt supply Once per regeneration, a light sensor checks the filling level of the regeneration salt.

Control unit You can register your product conveniently using the myGrünbeck app. In the myGrünbeck app, call up the "Product registration" function in the "User" menu. Scan the data matrix code of the type designation plate (refer to chapter 1.7). This gives you a follow-on warranty for your product. Peer-to-peer connection You can connect Wi-Fi devices such as smart phones, tablets or laptops directly to the control unit of the softliQ and thus permit access to the control unit.
Control unit Once the connection has been established, it is possible to access the water softener via the internal website or using the myGrünbeck app. The connection will not be established before the password has been entered. Connection via Wi-Fi router You can connect the control unit of the softliQ to a Wi-Fi router, and thus integrate it into an existing network.

Control unit 4.8.1 Connect the softliQ to Wi-Fi using the myGrünbeck app In order to be able to configure the water softener using the myGrünbeck app, you must already have an existing peer-to-peer connection (refer to chapter 4.7). 1. Open the menu of the myGrünbeck app. 2.
