    Water Softener ® WINNI-mat 2 | How to use this operation manual This operation manual is intended for the operators of our systems. It is divided into several chapters (a letter is assigned to each of them) which are listed in the “Table of contents” on page 1 in alphabetical order.

    Water Softener ® WINNI-mat Basic Information 1 | Laws, regulations, standards In the interest of good health, rules cannot be ignored when it comes to the processing of drinking water (raw water). This operation manual takes into consideration the current regulations and stipulates infor- mation that you will need for the safe operation of your water treat- ment system.

    Water Softener ® WINNI-mat 3 | Designated application ® Water softeners of the series WINNI-mat VGX are designed for the sof- tening and partial softening of cold drinking and process water. In case of single systems, only raw water is available during the regeneration phase.

Make sure there is a free outlet (min. 20 mm) to the drain. Fasten the hose with appropriate means in order to prevent the hose from wag- ging.

    Water Softener ® WINNI-mat Maintenance and care 1 | General information In order to guarantee the reliable function of water softeners over a long period of time, some maintenance work has to be performed at regular intervals. This applies in particular to the softening of drinking water where the required measures are defined in the pertinent regu- lations and guidelines.
