15. Pull the outside of the seed pan handle and
position the seed pan, as desired. Lock the
handle into place at the desired height.
CAUTION
To prevent personal injury, do not use
the conveyor if the guard has been
removed.
CAUTION
Always load compartment 1 first to
maintain a positive tongue weight.
Negative tongue weight can cause the
hitch to rapidly swing upward if not
securely fastened to the tow vehicle,
which can result in personal injury.
16. Start the conveyor. Refer to section 5.3 for
setting automatic seed delivery functions.
17. Allow seed to flow into the conveyor and fill
the seed tender.
18. When the seed tender is filled, stop the
conveyor.
19. Reposition the conveyor into the transport
position and reinstall all lock pins.
20. Move the seed tender to the location of the
planting equipment following all safe towing
practices.
NOTE: Two sample slide gates, one in each
compartment, are used to retrieve samples of the
seed from the compartment.
