4.13 Voice mail

When the Callmaster 250 has received voice mail messages, you will
hear a warning tone. This is a special service offered by your local
telephone provider. As soon as the unit detects these signals, the
symbol
appears on the display and the LED indicator blinks fast.

4.14 Solving problems

4.14.1 The Callmaster 250 doesn't respond properly to commands

It is possible that the batteries are empty. Try to solve the problem by
replacing the batteries. When you are using and adapter, disconnect it
for about 10 seconds.

4.14.2 The unit doesn't announce any calls

• Check the volume.
• Contact your telephone provider to check if you have a Caller-ID
subscription.
• Check the batteries and the cables.
• Let the phone ring twice before you answer because the Caller-ID
information is displayed and announced between the first and
second ring.

4.14.3 The call back function doesn't work properly.

The local area code and the area prefix have not been set corre c t l y.
Read the chapter in question thoroughly and set them again.
