Selects a fixed range for AC and DC voltage measurements.
This parameter setting is not shared between AC and DC measurements. The parameters are independent for
AC and DC measurements.
Parameter
<range>: {100 mV|1 V|10 V|100 V|300 V}.
Default: AUTO
Configure AC voltage measurements, and select 10 V range:
CONF:VOLT:AC
VOLT:AC:RANG 10
– Selecting a fixed range ([SENSe:]< function >:RANGe) disables autoranging.
– If the input signal is greater than can be measured on the specified fixed range, the instrument displays Overload
on front panel and returns "9.9E37" from the remote interface.
– This parameter is set to its default value after a Factory Reset

Enables the aperture mode and sets the integration time in seconds (called aperture time ) for DC voltage meas-
urements.
Used this command for precise control for the DMM's integration time.Use NPLC for better power-line noise
rejection characteristics (NPLC >1) (see

Enable aperture time mode, set the aperture time to 300 ms:

– You can specify MIN (smallest value accepted) or MAX (largest value accepted) instead of < seconds >.
– Only the integral number of power line cycles (1, 2, 10, 20, 100, or 200 PLCs) provide normal mode (line fre-
quency noise) rejection.
