Cutting Tool Attachment

When mounting or removing a tool,
first switch off the spindle switch.
Doing so may result in injury.
Do not touch the tool immediately
after cutting operating stops.
The tool may have become hot due to
friction heat and may cause burns if
touched.
NOTICE
Use the correct tool for the material to be cut and the cutting method.
Do not attempt to mount a collet chuck with no tool and tighten it with a wrench. Doing so may make it impossible
to install a tool the next time used.
Use caution to prevent the cutting tool from falling out, otherwise the cutting tool may be damaged.

Set the SPINDLE switch on the front of the PNC-3200
to OFF.

Insert the cutting tool.

The cutting tool must not be
inserted as far as the blade.
Do not touch the tip of the blade
with your fingers.
Doing so may result in injury.
Fasten the tool and material
securely in place.
Otherwise they may come loose during
cutting, resulting in injury.

Loosen the collet chuck.

Tighten the collet chuck by hand to provisionally
secure the cutting tool to the spindle motor.
