E1 SUBSCRIBER UNIT NOTE For most applications, use a straight-through Ethernet cable when plugging the E1 Subscriber Unit into a PC. Use a cross-over cable when plugging into a hub or switch. Verify the pinout of the Ethernet device into which you are connecting the Subscriber Unit to determine which type of cable is required.
