6.4 Installing the Codec for the TP1102-55

Context
Before installing the codec, power it on and ensure that its video (for example, the codec home
screen) can be viewed on the HD display.

Procedure
Step 1 Orient the codec vertically and locate it with its ports facing upward and the power switch on
the right.
Step 2 Insert the codec into the cable trough, as shown by No. 1 in
Step 3 Connect the codec to the power adapter, and place the power adapter in the slot at the rack
bottom, below the codec.
