Insert the air plug into the air connector before
starting a blood pressure measurement.
• The cuff is applicable to arms with a circumference
between 22 and 42 cm. Take your arm size before
measurement.
• Choose your memory bank before measurement
to use the personal mode effectively.
Wrap the cuff to fit your arm snugly, leaving enough space for two fingers
to be put between your arm and the cuff.
• Inaccurate readings may result if the cuff is wrapped incorrectly.
Be sure to wrap the cuff correctly.

Sit on a chair and apply the cuff.

Find a chair and a table so that you can be comfortably seated with your feet flat on the
floor and your back and arm supported.
Put the cuff on your left arm with the air hose
positioned toward your hand.
Attach the cuff with the hook and loop
fastener with the lower edge of the cuff
approximately 2 to 3 cm above the inner
elbow.
Adjust the position of the cuff so that the air
hose and the "ARTERY" mark on the cuff
are over the inner part of your arm over the
brachial artery.
Press the surface of the cuff to make sure that the hook & loop fastens securely.
Let your forearm rest naturally on the table and keep the cuff at the height of your

heart during measurement.
If the cuff is lower (or higher) than the heart, the measured reading tends to become higher (or lower).
• Take deep breaths and relax.
• Do not move or speak while taking your blood
pressure.
• Do not cross your legs during measurement.
• Do not hold your breath.

Turn off the unit once with the Start/Stop button (
measurement.

Select a memory bank to review the saved readings.

• To review readings saved in the memory bank [ID]: Press the

The average of the saved readings is displayed.
• Note: The average is for up to 3 readings within 15 minutes
before the last measurement.
• " " indicates the average, and the following number indicates
the number of the saved results used for the average.

• To display the latest reading saved in the selected memory
bank: Press the Up button ( ). Press the button repeatedly
to recall the readings from the latest to the oldest.
• To display the oldest reading saved in the selected memory
bank: Press the Down button ( ). Press the button
repeatedly to recall the readings from the oldest to the latest.
The display at the top shows the memory number, measurement
date and time alternately. The latest reading is displayed as
memory "No. 1".
• A bigger memory number indicates an older reading.

Air is released from the cuff and measured values are

AUTOMATIC REPEATED INFLATION
If you move or strain your arm or hand, inflation may
be repeated multiple times to obtain a measurement.
Repeated inflation does not indicate a malfunction of
the unit.

confirm the bank selected after a measurement.

The unit will be turned off. Even if you do not turn off the unit, it will turn off
automatically after 3 minutes.

Do not execute repeated measurements as congestion of blood could result in false
measurement. Let your arm rest for at least 5 minutes.
Turn off the unit.

Even if you do not turn off the unit, it will display the result for approximately
30 seconds and then turn off automatically.
SWITCHING THE RESULT BETWEEN MORNING READING AND NIGHT READING
You can switch between the morning reading and night reading by pressing the
Morning/Night memory button ( ) while displaying the saved reading.
Morning Reading: 4 – 10 A.M.
Night Reading:
DELETING SAVED READINGS
Display the reading to delete.

• Display the desired reading to delete individually.
• Display the average reading to delete all readings in the memory.
Press and hold the Memory button (
