Replacing the internal RDX removable disk drive in the 9009-41A, 9009-42A, or 9223-42H
To replace the internal RDX removable disk drive, complete the steps in this procedure.
Procedure
1. Ensure that you have the electrostatic discharge (ESD) wrist strap on and that the ESD clip is plugged
into a ground jack or connected to an unpainted metal surface. If not, do so now.
2. Insert the internal RDX removable disk drive into the docking station as shown in Figure 65 on page
76.

Preparing the system for operation after removing and replacing the internal RDX removable disk
drive in the 9009-41A, 9009-42A, or 9223-42H
To prepare the system for operation, complete the steps in this procedure.
Procedure
1. Ensure that you have the electrostatic discharge (ESD) wrist strap on and that the ESD clip is plugged
into a ground jack or connected to an unpainted metal surface. If not, do so now.
2. Verify the installed part.
• If you replaced the part because of a service action, verify the installed part. For instructions, see
