Removing the internal RDX removable disk drive from the 9009-41A, 9009-42A, or 9223-42H
To remove the internal RDX removable disk drive, complete the steps in this procedure.
Procedure
1. Ensure that you have the electrostatic discharge (ESD) wrist strap on and that the ESD clip is plugged
into a ground jack or connected to an unpainted metal surface. If not, do so now.
2. On the system, verify that the LED of the internal RDX removable disk drive is on.
3. Press the internal RDX disk drive eject button that is shown in Figure 64 on page 75.

4. Wait for the eject button to stop flashing green and for the removable disk drive to be ejected.
5. Remove the RDX removable disk drive.
Note: If the RDX removable disk drive is stuck and does not eject, insert a large straightened paper
clip (or similar object) into the emergency eject hole.
