Operation
The ice box is switched on or off via a control panel (see figure 2, page 2,
pos C).
Before you put the new refrigerator into operation, you should
clean it inside and outside with a damp cloth for hygienic reasons
(see also "Cleaning and servicing" chapter on page 20).

Tips to save energy
Select a well ventilated location which is protected against sunrays.
Let warm foods first cool down before you bin them.
Do not open the refrigerator more often than necessary!
Do not leave the lid or door open longer than necessary!

Open/close ice box
The cover halves of the ice box (see figure 2, page 2, pos. F) can be closed
by means of a rotary button. The following settings can be selected with the
rotary button:

Use the ice box
➤ Place the cooling box on a stable base.
➤ Connect the cooling box
– with a mains rectifier to a alternating current socket.
or
– with the supplied connecting cable to the cigarette lighter in the
vehicle.
➤ Push the switch on the control panel to the position „HEISS/HOT" (see
figure 4, page 3, Pos. H) or „KALT/COLD" (see figure 4, page 3, Pos. F)
in order to switch on the ice box.
