3.7 Setting Conference Parameters

Context
When creating a conference on the touch panel, you can modify the conference parameters or
retain their default values.

Description
Specifies the continuous presence mode for the conference.
Specifies whether to enable network recording for the conference.
Disable: Network recording is disabled for all conferences.
Enable: Network recording is enabled for all conferences.
Enable once: Network recording is enabled for the current
conference only.
NOTE
This parameter is available only when Network recording server is enabled.
To enable Network recording server, from the telepresence host web interface,
choose System Settings > Conference, select Network recording server, and
click Save.
> Settings > Advanced Settings > Conference Settings.
Table
Description
Specifies the default protocol used for calling a site.
H.323: H.323 is used for audiovisual conferences.
4E1: 4E1 is used for audiovisual conferences.
NOTE
This option is available only when the telepresence host has a 4E1 interface card
installed and 4E1 parameters have been set on the Telepresence System Manager.
SIP: The Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) is used for audiovisual
conferences.
AUTO: The telepresence system automatically selects an appropriate
protocol based on the remote site capability.
