2.1.5 Logging Out from the Telepresence System Manager
To ensure the security of the Telepresence System Manager, log out from the system after you
complete your operations.

2.2 Setting System Parameters
The telepresence host will work properly only after system parameters have been set correctly.
You can set the system parameters using the Telepresence System Manager.
System parameters include general parameters, network parameters, user parameters,
H.323/SIP parameters, security and service parameters, conference parameters, and network
address book parameters. If the codec has a 4E1 interface card installed, 4E1 parameters must
be set. If the codec has a public switched telephone network (PSTN) interface card installed,
PSTN parameters must be set. For for details about any of the preceding parameters, see the

2.2.1 Modifying General Parameters
Context
Using the Telepresence System Manager, you can modify the following parameters:

Step 1 On the Telepresence System Manager, click System Settings to display the General tab.
Step 2 Modify general parameters.
Step 3 Click Save.

2.2.2 Setting Network Parameters
The telepresence host provides internal and external network ports. The internal network port
is used for the connection with devices within the telepresence system, such as the touch
panel. The external network port is used for the connection with devices outside the
telepresence system.
