Grounded pLuG As a safety feature, this product is equipped with a grounded plug, which will only fit into a three-prong outlet. do not attempt to defeat this safety feature. Improper connection of the grounding conductor may result in the risk of electric shock. Consult a qualified electrician if you are in doubt as to whether the outlet is properly grounded. taMper-resIstant sCreW Warning : this appliance is equipped with a tamper-resistant screw to prevent removal of the outer cover. to reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not attempt to remove the outer cover. there are no user-serviceable parts inside. repair should be done only by authorized service personnel. -

When in use, always use oven mitts or potholders when touching any outer or inner surface of the oven. note: during first few minutes of use you may notice smoke and a slight odor. This is normal and should cause no concern. - Page 5 BaKInG 1. Insert slide rack into the lower rack position, engaging rack hooks as directed in GeTTING STARTed. 2. Turn temperature control knob to desired temperature from 150º F to 450º F. 3. Turn cooking function selector knob to BAKe. 4. Turn timer knob to 10, then turn back or forward to desired baking time, including preheat time. (Select STAY oN to bake longer than 30 minutes or to control cooking time yourself. Be sure to use a kitchen timer.) Important: You must set the timer or select staY on for the oven to function. 5. The blue power indicator light comes on and will remain lit during the entire baking time. 6. The heating elements will cycle on and off to maintain even heat distribution. 7. once oven has preheated, open oven door and insert food. Close oven door. note: You can bake 3 ways: • Use the baking pan placed on the oven rack. • Place the baking pan under the slide rack and place food directly on the rack. note: Be sure food does not extend past the edges of the baking pan to prevent grease from dripping onto the heating elements.

For best results on first toasting cycle set the toast selector dial to medium which will be midway between light and dark setting, then re-adjust for next cycle to lighter or darker to suit your preference. Caution: this oven gets hot. When in use, always use oven mitts or potholders when touching any outer or inner surface of the oven. THIS OVEN GETS HOT. Unplug appliance when not in use. toast tIps • You must turn the toast shade selector knob to oFF to discontinue toasting. • When repeating the toast cycle immediately, it is suggested to set the toast shade selector to a slightly lighter setting. toastInG BaGeLs Important: It is not necessary to preheat the oven to use the bagel toasting function. 1. open oven door and insert side slots in the lower slot position. 2. engage the integrated hooks on the door as directed in GeTTING STARTed. 3. Place desired number of bagels to be toasted directly on slide rack and close the door. 4. Turn TeMP dial to Bagel/Toast and the FUNCTIoN dial to Bagel. 5. Turn toast shade selector to 10 and then immediately turn back to bagel setting ( note: You must set the toast shade selector to the bagel icon for the oven to begin toasting your bagels correctly.

Care and Cleaning This product contains no user serviceable parts. Refer service to qualified service personnel. CLeanInG Your oVen Important: Before cleaning any part, be sure the oven is off, unplugged and has cooled completely. Always dry parts thoroughly before using oven after cleaning. 1. Clean the glass door with a sponge, soft cloth or nylon pad and sudsy water. do not use a spray glass cleaner. 2. To remove the slide rack, open the door, pull the rack forward and out. Wash the slide rack in sudsy water. To remove stubborn spots, use a polyester or nylon pad. 3. It is not recommended to wash baking pan in the dishwasher. Wash the baking pan and slide rack in sudsy water. To minimize scratching, use a polyester or nylon pad. CruMB traY note: The oven door must be closed to remove crumb tray. 1. In large bowl, combine all ingredients. Blend (batter will be slightly lumpy) and let rest 3 to 4 minutes. Stir batter and spoon into greased 8-inch square baking pan. LIMpIeZa deL InterIor deL Horno para limpiar el interior del horno: 1. Caliente el horno a 93 ºC (200º F). 2. Apague el horno tostador. 3. Coloque un recipiente llano que contenga ½ taza de amoniaco sobre la parrilla. 4. Cierre la puerta del horno y déjelo reposar toda la noche. 5. Al día siguiente, retire el recipiente y limpie el interior del horno con papel toalla húmedo. para refrescar el aire dentro del horno: 1. Coloque tiritas de cascarilla de naranja o limón sobre la parrilla. 2. Caliente el horno tostador a 176 ºC (350º F) y hornee durante 30 minutos. 3. Apague el horno y deje las cascarillas reposar hasta que el horno se enfríe por completo. 4.
