Before use

Unwind the cord completely. Wipe the grill pans and the housing with a damp
cloth before use.
Position the appliance on an even and stable surface, preferably close to a
cooker hood. Plug the appliance to a wall outlet (the red signal lamp goes on)
and let it preheat for about 10 minutes. Note that smoke and odour may occur
when the hamburger maker is heated for the first time.
Prepare the hamburgers as you want to or follow the recipe below.
Basic recipe hamburgers
500 g forcemeat
1 tbsp salt
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 /4 tbsp fresh ground white pepper
1/t tbsp fresh ground black pepper

How to use the appliance

First, follow the instructions in section "Before use". Be sure that the appliance
is plugged and wait until the green signal lamp goes on; now the appliance
is ready for use. The green signal lamp will go on and off during use, which
indicates that the correct temperature is kept. Always keep the lid closed
during heating and between grilling processes.
Grilling
Take about 90 g forcemeat and put it in the delivered mould, grease the
underside of the press with oil to avoid the forcemeat getting stuck. Press
slightly with the press in the mould to shape the hamburger. Prepare at least 2
hamburgers before you start grilling to make it easier.
Brush the grill pans with oil. Next, put one hamburger in each grill pan, close
the lid and lock with the beak on the handle. Grill the hamburgers for about 1-2
minutes and then check the result. Note that the grilling time may be affected
by the temperature, the quantity, the texture of the raw materials and the
ingredients of the forcemeat. If the hamburgers are done, lift them from the
pans by means of a plastic or wooden utensil. Always wipe the pans with some
kitchen paper between each grilling to remove possible remains that might
burn.
You can even grill frozen hamburgers with a diameter of max. 10 cm and a
height of max. 1.5 cm. The procedure is the same as described above, but it
may be necessary to carefully press down the lid for a few seconds to make
the handle lock.
