Safety Notes
Before changing the measuring range, disconnect both
measuring cables from the circuit (Cable, rail etc.).
Do not operate the meter with the battery door or portions of
the case removed or loosened.
To avoid an electric stroke, take extra care not to touch the
measuring tips and the circuitry while taking measurements
(not even indirectly).
Avoid taking measurements in excessive humidity or under
wet conditions. When taking measurements, you absolutely
must have dry hands and stand on a dry floor with dry
shoes.
Do not operate the meter around explosive gas, vapour or
dust.
Do not use the meter if it operates abnormally. Protection
may be impaired. When in doubt, have the meter serviced.
To avoid false readings which could lead to possible electric
shock or personal injury, replace the batteries as soon as
the low battery indicator (B) appears.
Do not expose the clamp meter to extreme temperatures
and store the device at normal room temperature.
Maintenance and repair of the device should only be
performed by a qualified technician!
Do not disassemble the unit and do not attempt to repair it
yourself. There are no parts serviceable by you inside.
