Adjusting the parallelism of base and slid-
ing tables
5.1
Checking the parallelism
• Move stop guide up to saw blade. If the sliding
table is correctly adjusted the gap between the
underside of the stop and the base table is the
same across the whole width.
5.2
Adjusting the parallelism
A separate adjustment is necessary at the front
and rear supports.
• Release handle [3-1].
• Release counternut [3-8].
• Adjust parallelism of both tables with adjusting
screw [3-2].
• Re-tighten counternut [3-8] and handle [3-1].
6
Adjusting the parallelism of sliding table
guide and saw blade
6.1
Checking the parallelism
• Fit angle fence on sliding table.
• Set stop guide so that the front edge of the stop
is exactly flush with the outer table edge of the
PRECISIO. When the sliding table is moved the
edges must be equidistant throughout the entire
range of motion.
6.2
Adjusting the parallelism
The parallelism is adjusted with the screw [3-5]
on the fitting angle on the rear of the table.
• Loosen handle [3-1].
• Loosen locking bolt [3-7]
• Loosen counternut [3-6].
• Adjust parallelism with screw [3-5].
• Check by moving the sliding table - same dis-
tance to base table at all points!
• Re-tighten locking bolt [3-7], counternut [3-6]
and handle [3-1].

Adjusting the roller guide
7.1
Checking the guide play
The play between the guide rod and guide rollers
is usually adjusted in the works. Nevertheless, we
recommend that the guide play at both rollers be
checked as follows:
• Push on sliding table from above. When the
sliding table is moved the outer ring of the bot-
tom ball bearing also rotates if the guide play is
correctly adjusted.
7.2
Adjusting the guide play
• Loosen the locking nut [4-1] with the size 15
open-end spanner.
• Adjust the position of the bearing via the cam
plate [4-2] using a size 5 Allen key [1-4].
• Re-tighten nut [4-1] following correction of the
guide play.
8
Dismantling the sliding table unit
The complete sliding table can be dismantled in
a trice and quickly be re-fitted with no adjust-
ments.
• Lock sliding table with rotary knob [4-5].
• Release handles [3-1] and remove from frame
with bolt head [5-2].
• Remove complete unit.
Re-assemble in reverse order with no adjust-
ments.
