Instructions for the Use and Care of
Your Acura Car Cover
made of EVOLUTION Fabric
NOTICE: Do not dry this car cover in automatic dryers.
Your new cover will help minimize deterioration of the paint and upholstery of your
vehicle by shielding it from the ultra-violet rays of the sun, dirt, dust, tree leaves, sap,
bird droppings, industrial pollutants, and salt particles in the air. The cover, although
not waterproof, can keep your car dry in light precipitation, but not in a rainstorm. It
has been treated with a durable water repellent and is mildew resistant. The cover is
made from a "breathable" fabric and will not trap moisture, which can cause damage
to the paint.

INSTALLATION OF THE COVER

When installing your cover, make sure that the mirror pockets on the sides of the
cover are pulled over the mirrors before pulling the ends of the cover over the
bumpers (see figure A). The elastic ends of your cover will keep it secure under
normal conditions. On windy days, or for prolonged storage, it is advisable to use a
lock and cable fastened to the grommets at the sides of the cover. The lock and cable
are included in this kit.
