Common Fault
After the IP
camera is
upgraded, the web
management
system cannot be
accessed.
The IP camera
cannot be
upgraded.
Issue 12 (2014-06-12)
Possible Cause
The signal cable is
not properly
connected.
The browser cache is
not updated.
The network is
disconnected or the
network settings are
incorrect.
The upgrade package
is incorrect.

Solution
Check the signal strength and connect the
signal cable properly.
To delete the browser cache, proceed as
follows: (Internet Explorer 8 is used as an
example.)
1. Open Internet Explorer.
2. Choose Tools > Internet Options >
General.
3. Click Delete.
The Delete Browsing History
dialog box is displayed.
4. Select all check boxes.
5. Click Delete.
Log in to the web management
system again.
 Connect the PC directly to the camera,
and verify that the web management
system can be accessed.
 Verify that the network cable is
properly connected.
Obtain the correct upgrade package and
upgrade the IP camera again.
