6.16 Replacing Hour Meter

DANGER!
Risk of Death, Injury, or Damage
To prevent electrical shock
– ALWAYS disconnect concentrator from electrical outlet before servicing.
Only the AW model is shown. The hour meter for the VAW replaces in the same manner.
1. Turn power Off (O) and unplug the unit.
2. Remove cabinet. Refer to 6.1 Removing Cabinet, page 17.
3. Remove control panel B. Refer to 6.10.2 Replacing the Control Panel, page 30.
4. Remove and label the two hour meter connectors C and wires D connected to back of hour meter A.
5. Squeeze retaining clips E on hour meter housing F that secure hour meter to control panel.
6. Remove hour meter by pushing meter through front of control panel and discard.
7. Install new hour meter reversing STEPS 4-6.
8. Reinstall control panel. Refer to 6.10.2 Replacing the Control Panel, page 30 and reverse ALL steps.
9. Reinstall cabinet. Refer to 6.1 Removing Cabinet, page 17 and reverse all steps.
