Pairing the Remote to the Module
(Code Clearing and Code Matching)
Montigo ships the fireplace with a functional LED system, but, if
you need to pair an alternate remote, follows these steps:
1. Switch off the power. Wait until power supply led indicator
goes off.
2. Switch on again.

NOTE:
One remote can control multiple fireplaces, but one fireplace can be paired
with a maximum of 4 remotes.
NOTE:
If remote fails to pair with controller, remove batteries from remote and
let it sit for 2 minutes (this way all residual power will be drained). Install
batteries back and repeat pairing procedure.

For Version 2.0 LED Remote
(Indicating light on color
wheel is opaque.):
3. Within 3 seconds (after
power supply indicator
goes on) press S+ button.
4. To clear a remote's
pairing, follow the same
procedure, but hold the
remote's speed- button
until the fireplace LEDs
flash 9 times.
For Version 3.0 LED Remote
(Indicating light on color
wheel is dotted.):
3. Within 6 seconds (after
power supply indicator
goes on) press ON button
and M- for two seconds.
