Equipotential bonding

The unit must be connected from the
bonding point labeled on the unit to the
equipotential bonding point of the room.
(See Fig. 1)

Earth ground continuity test

Have a certified electrician perform
earth ground continuity tests between all
locations indicated: (See Fig. 2)

Earth bonding lug

All metal surfaces

Transducer earth grounding stud
(hydrosound only)

GND, yellow/green wire
WARNING!
A certified electrician must, following
installation, ensure that the earth
ground continuity exists at locations
marked in the figure. The resistance
shall be 0.2 ¾ or less.
Corrective action must be taken if resi-
stance is above 0.2 ¾.
Do not use an audible tone type con-
tinuity tester for this test.
The use of a digital type resistance
meter capable of measuring and
displaying resistance of 1 ¾ or less
is suggested.
A firm contact pressure on both
contact points of the meter probes
is necessary to measure resistance
1 ¾ or less.
