be used immediately.
Drying:
To dry, use the drying cycle of the autoclave. Set cycle for 20-
30 minutes.
Maintenance, inspection and testing:
• Visually inspect to ensure all contamination is removed.
• Visually inspect all o-rings for wear. Replace worn o-rings
Lubricate o-rings with water before use.
• Check for distortion, damage and wear. Discard damaged,
worn or corroded instruments.
Storage:
To maintain sterility, instruments should remain bagged until
ready for use.

INSTALLATION

The Cavitron JET Air Polishing Insert slides into the handpiece
of the PROPHY JET (Type Gen. 122) and the 30 kHz Cavitron
JET Combination System. Lubricate the rubber o-ring with
water. Align the powder tube of the insert with the powder
outlet of the handpiece. Slide the insert into the handpiece and
gently push until fully seated. To remove the insert, pull straight
out. This insert cannot be rotated. Always use a cleaned and
sterilized insert.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
• Place a 2x2 gauze pad on lip and position
saliva ejector.
• Place nozzle tip 3 to 4 mm slightly apically
on the incisal to middle third of the tooth, using
constant circular motion, interproximal
to interproximal (sweeping motion).
