Overview
The Cavium (Qlogic) BCM57840 PCIe3.0 x8 LP 4-port SFP+ 10 Gb Ethernet adapter is a PCI Express
(PCIe) generation 3 (Gen3) x8 adapter. The adapter can be used in either a x8 or x16 PCIe slot in the
system. The adapter offers a broad selection of networking features that include TCP offload, support for
PXE boot and virtualized environments (VMDq and PC-SIG SRIOV), and energy-efficient Ethernet (IEEE
802.3az).
