Transport of the wheelchair

Your Excel G-Evolution wheelchair is designed to be easily transported by car. Your wheelchair is foldable so the
total width is limited to an average measure of 30-35 cm. Further your wheelchair is equipped with swing away
and detachable footrests. Besides, some of the components of the wheelchair reducable. The rear wheels are
detachable, based on a quick-release system.

Folding the wheelchair

To fold the wheelchair, please follow the following operations:
Before you are going to fold the wheelchair, remove the seat cushion if your wheelchair is equipped with one;
Then both legrests should be removed (see section 6.6);
On photo 35 you see the wheelchair with the legrests in the way you can use them. To fold them upwards
(photo 36) you will create the situation shown on photo 37;
To fold the wheelchair you have to stand next to the wheelchair. Get a hold of the seat in the middle of the
rear and front of the seat(photo 38) and pull it straight up. To fold the chair completely, pull the seat like
shown on photo 40;
To make wheelchair even smaller so that it can be easaly transported, you can take wheels of the wheelchair
off.by the Quick-release system (see section 6.10.1). In picture 41 you can see that by meaning of pressing the
black button, you can release the rear wheels of the wheelchair (photo 42).
