Display Sound Meaning
+ CHAN Your radio is now operating in
conventional mode.
The channel is busy.
You cannot transmit because the
channel is busy. Wait until it is free to
transmit or use a channel that is clear.
medium + Monitor is active.
slow + The battery is low. Recharge or replace
flashing every 5 the battery as soon as possible.
seconds
The battery is too low to operate the
radio. Turn off the radio and recharge
or replace the battery.
The temperature is too high. You
should stop transmitting and allow
the radio to cool down.
