2.5" HDD / SSD
Memory module, M.2 SSD and mPCIe card are located under 2.5" HDD / SSD. To remove
or install them you have first to lift up the HDD / SSD that is screwed to a bracket on
each side.

For closing replace carefully HDD / SSD as well as the SATA cable and the access cover to the system and screw
it on with the retained screws.
7.
Tighten the retained screws when the cover is firmly in place.
When used as intended, the QBOX-2090 Series is to operate only in closed condition.
Only when the access cover is properly fixed with the screws and the rear side with
WLAN and / or 3G / 4G antennas are properly installed and secured with the screws, it
is ensured that the user does not have access to the internal parts of the QBOX-2090
Series.
5.1.1. Installing an HDD / SSD
To install an 2.5" HDD / SSD please proceed according to the steps described:
1.
Open the device as described in the subsection 5.1 "Opening and Closing the QBOX-2090 Series" (step 1-5).
2.
Screw the brackets to the two sides of the HDD / SSD and connect the SATA cable (Figure 4, pos. 4) to it.
3.
Align the HDD / SSD brackets with the internal brackets of the QBOX-2090 Series.
4.
In order to close the QBOX-2090 Series, proceed step 6 & 7 described in the subsection 5.1 "Opening and Closing
the QBOX-2090 Series".
