Symptom
The air cannon is not
triggered.
The air cannon
sputters after it is
triggered and the air
pressure drops only
slowly or never
reaches the zero
value.
The air cannon
triggers but has no
impact.

Cause
Electrical connections of the
solenoid valves.
No pressure in the air
cannon tank.
Control line leaky or
incorrectly connected.
The air cannon's vent ports
are closed.
Valve piston installed
backwards.
The air outlet or nozzle is
clogged.
The control line is too long.
Operating pressure too low. Check whether the operating
Control signal functions too
briefly.
The air outlet or nozzle is
clogged.
The manual safety guard is
closed.

Remedy
Make sure that the electrical
connections are flawless. Check
the voltage. Check whether the
control system is switched on and
whether signals are being sent.
See "The air cannon does not fill"
fault.
Check whether the control line is
corrected connected to the air
cannon and to the solenoid valve
and whether it is leak-tight.
Inspect the two 1" elbows. They
MUST NOT be closed or reduced
in diameter. Turn the nuts
downwards if possible.
Rotate the valve
body piston
See Section 6.3.2
Remove the clogging.
Check whether the compressed air
line is too long (over 30 m).
pressure is 3 to 10 bars.
Make sure that the magnetic valve
remains activated long enough for
correct operation (at least 1
second, no more than 2 seconds).
Remove the clogging.
Open the safety guard.
