Symptom
The air cannon does
not fill.

Cause
Compressed air supply
Ball valves
Maintenance unit incorrectly
installed and/or adjusted.
The solenoid valve's air
connections are incorrectly
connected.
The air cannon tank's plug
is missing
Fill port of the air cannon.
Pneumatic connections of
the solenoid valves.
The valve's piston, piston
seat or sleeve is jammed,
worn out or soiled

Remedy
Ensure that the compressor is
switched on and the compressed
air supply pressurised.
Check whether the ball valves are
completely opened on all of the air
cannons.
The default setting of the
secondary pressure is 0 bar. Set
the desired value by lifting the unit
and then turning it clockwise.
Check the direction of flow of the
maintenance unit - see marking.
Check the air connections - Also
refer to Section 5.2.6.
Connection 1 = inlet,
Connection 4 = outlet,
Connection 5 = venting.
Check whether all of the
connections on the air cannon tank
have been closed.
Check whether the fill port was
connected to the compressed air
supply.
Inspect all of the pipe connections.
Check for leaks. Check the
direction of flow in the pipelines.
Perform maintenance on the air
cannons.
