In-phase conditions
In-phase conditions are indicated by
the green continuous light!
Out-of-phase conditions
Out-of-phase conditions are indicated
by a yellow and red flashing light
and intermittent acoustic signal!
Fig. 8
Meaning of the indication signals
Even if in-phase conditions occur only once, the two systems must not be connected!
5.4
Functional check
If in-phase conditions have been verified, a functional check of the indication – Out-of-phase condi-
tions – must be performed.
>>>The yellow continuous light indicates that the device is ready for operation<<<
Contact the bare phase conductor L1 of system 1 by means of the test/contact electrode of the phase
comparator. Attach the test/contact electrode to the phase conductor until the yellow indication flashes.
The phase conductor L2 or L3 of system 1 must be contacted within 12 seconds!
After contacting the phase conductor, the yellow and red indication must flash and the intermittent
acoustic signal must sound. If this is the case, the functional check is completed (see Fig. 9).
>>>The two systems can be interconnected<<<
