4. Start-up and operation

Types of contact electrodes

The PHV 1 P phase comparator features a test electrode with a tooth profile for safe contact. Thanks
to the M8 female thread of the test electrode's tooth profile, different screw-on contact electrodes can
be used.
Note: Contact electrodes are not included in delivery!
The contact electrode required for the relevant part of the installation is firmly screwed into the top end
of the test prod. The nominal voltage (nominal voltage range) of the relevant contact electrode must
be identical with the nominal voltage (nominal voltage range) of the phase comparator (see Table 1).
