5.3 Joining a Scheduled Conference
After conferences are scheduled on the RM, you can view the scheduled and ongoing conferences
on the touch panel. For details about how to schedule conferences on the RM, see the ViewPoint
ResourceManager User Guide.
The conference schedules list displays the name, start time, end time, and status of scheduled conferences.

Procedure
On the touch panel home screen, tap
schedules list to join the conference.
You can also choose
ongoing conference from which the local site is absent.
5.4 Joining an Authentication Conference
Context
If the number of sites that are expected to join the conference is not known, you can set the
number of anonymous sites, and then hold an authentication conference. A site can join the
authentication conference by calling the conference access number. Before joining an
authentication conference, set the call type to H.323 under
the touch panel.
Procedure
Step 1 Check the necessary resource preparations using the following methods:
