Chapter 5 – Parameters for 12 – Pulse Operation
This chapter gives information about the list of parameters for
6 - pulse operation with DCS 600 (included in the separate Soft-
ware Description DCS 600). As far as special parameters for
12 – pulse operation with DCS 600 are concerned please refer
to the corresponding Chapters within this manual.
Chapter 6 – Start–Up Instructions
This chapter provides detailed information on how to start up the
different 12 – pulse configurations with thyristor power converters of
the DCS 600 series.
This manual is designed to help those who are responsible for
planning, installing, starting up and servicing the thyristor power
converter.
These people should possess
• basic knowledge of physics and electrical engineering, electrical
wiring principles, components and symbols used in electrical en-
gineering
• basic experience with DC drives and products.
