This guide provides information on installing and doing the initial configuration on the IOLAN SDG4 LA/LE unit. The IOLAN SDG4 LA/LE comes in two basic flavors; IOLAN SDG4 LA - Four RJ45 serial ports and a North American Cellular module. -

Serial Port Mode Serial mode is used when the IOLAN acts as a communication sever to provide access to the serial device which is connected to its serial port.
