4.3 Setting the heating on the
Econo model
The setting of the Econo model's water-heat-
ed air heater for reheating is performed with a
thermostat that is placed inside the ventilation
unit. The thermostat setting positions
correspond to the following temperatures:
Together with the W5 ventilation unit, you
can use a separate water heated air heater
which is installed in a duct. The air heater is
commissioned and set using a Smart control
panel. Commissioning and setting are
described in the installation, operation and
maintenance instructions for the air heater.
The duct mounted air heater is optional
equipment: SDHW160.

4.4 Manual bypass damper

The W3/W4 ventilation unit is also available
with a manual summer bypass damper for the
heat exchanger. The bypass of air past the heat
exchanger is a built-in function in the ventila-
tion unit. This function is used to prevent heat
recovery when it is hot during the summer.
