4.2 Supply air temperature

The supply air temperature is controlled by the
heat exchanger and if needed with heating or
cooling element (accessory).
In Eco mode maximum heating / cooling effi-
ciency is maintained. Supply air temperature is
controlled only in heating or cooling period.
The temperature control set point can be
adjusted from user panel, weekly timer, by
operating mode or automatically controlled by
room temperature or summer night cooling
function.
SUPPLY AIR TEMPERATURE SETPOINT
Setpoint can be selected from Main menu /
Temperature.
Recommended supply air temperature is 3–4 °C
lower than the room temperature, so that the
supply air mixes with the room air. The factory
setting is 17 °C.
Remember the following when setting the
supply air temperature:
• A high temperature setting will also increase
the ventilation unit's power consumption.
• A low temperature setting, for example,
14 °C, can cause condensation.
• The ventilation unit cannot cool the supply
air without cooling unit (accessory).
Note. If room temperature control method is
selected, the setpoint defines preferred room
temperature.

SUMMER NIGHT COOLING
Summer night cooling bypasses the ventilation
unit's heat exchanger when it needs to cool
and the outdoor air is colder than the room
air. You then get cool outdoor air in the room.
The ventilation automatically boosts so that
the best possible cooling is obtained.
The heat exchanger takes care of the cool in-
door air during hot summer days. The capacity
in summer night cooling can be selected from
a quick menu, and the ventilation unit will
then automatically determine the cooling.
Summer night cooling function can be select-
ed from smart settings. With preset values the
user can select cooling level: off, low, normal,
high, full or (user).
Note. User setting can be defined by ad-
vanced user.
