Operation

Zero Adjustment
Zero adjustment is only required when measuring pure DC values or
alternate currents with a superimposed DC share
The zero adjustment compensates thermal effects, remanent magnetic
fields, or the geomagnetic field.
1. Connect C-Probe 1 to a DC voltmeter, e.g. to the Analog DC Input of the
CMC 256 test set.
2. Select a measurement range with a resolution of at least 10 mV.
3. Set the slide switch of the current clamp to 100 mV/A.
4. Now turn the thumbwheel (4) until a value of approximately 0 is
displayed.
