Cleaning (fig. 4)
Caution
y Unplug the appliance before you clean it.
y The cutting edges are sharp. Be careful when you clean the blade unit.
y Make sure that the cutting edges of the blade do not come into contact with hard
objects. This may cause the blade to get blunt.
1 For pre-cleaning or easy cleaning, add 1 liter of water and some detergent in the
blender jar.
2 Close the lid and the measuring cup, select "Pulse" or "Manual blend" and let the
appliance blend for a few seconds.
3 Turn off the appliance and unplug it. Disassemble the removable parts of the blender
jar.
4 Clean the removable parts in water with detergent or in the dishwasher.
5 Clean the motor unit with a damp cloth.
Caution
y When cleaning the display, do not use abrasive kitchen sponge or detergents. This is
to avoid scratches on the display. Use a damp cloth instead.
Software upgrades
Upgrading is essential to safeguard your privacy and the proper functioning of your
blender and the app.
From time to time, you would receive notifications via your NutriU App that upgrades
are available for your blender's firmware or for the app software.
Note
y When an upgrade is being installed, make sure that your smart device is near your
blender to make sure that the Bluetooth connection is stable. An update could take
up to 20 minutes.
y Always use the latest App and firmware.
y Always upgrade the App and the blender firmware when you receive a notification
that an upgrade is available. Upgrades are made available when there are software
improvements or to prevent a security issue. If you fail to upgrade, your connection to
the blender via the App may no longer be safe and private.
