Built-in safety lock
This feature ensures that you can only switch on the
appliance if the blender jar, the mill or the tumbler is
assembled on the motor unit properly. If the blender
jar or the tumbler is correctly assembled, the built-in
safety lock will be unlocked.
Safety Feature
This blender is fitted with a safety feature which
safeguards against excessive loads. In case of
overloading, the blender automatically activates
the protection and operation will stop and the
overloading symbol E01
will light up on the
control panel. If this occurs, press and hold the rotary
knob for 2 seconds to power off the appliance, unplug
it and allow it to cool down for 15 minutes. Remove
the ingredients and clear up the blender jar before
starting operation.
Electromagnetic fields (EMF)
This Philips appliance complies with all applicable
standards and regulations regarding exposure to
electromagnetic fields.
Recycling
This symbol means that electrical products shall not be
disposed of with normal household waste. (Fig. 4)
Follow your country's rules for the separate collection
of electrical products.

- Rotary knob:
Power on/off the appliance: press the rotary
knob to power on, press and hold it for 2
seconds to power off the unit.
Wake up the appliance: press the rotary knob
to wake up the appliance when it is in standby
mode. (The appliance goes to standby mode
when it is idle for three minutes.)

Using quick select program
To use a quick select program:
You can turn the rotary knob to select the program
you need and press the knob to confirm your
selection.
-Smoothie
-Ice crushing

-Dessert
-Nut-butter
-Soup
You can directly press the button below for:
- Clear juice button
with little fiber.
- Pulpy juice button
with fiber.
- Pulse button
: to blend briefly.
- Return button
: press it to stop ongoing
operation and return to selection mode
To use manually
:
Select a quick select program to operate the blender
in manual mode and adjust processing speed by
rotating the knob.
You can adjust processing speed from speed 1 to
speed 12 (maximum speed).

Before first time use

Before you use the appliance and accessories for the
first time, thoroughly clean the parts that come into
contact with food. (Fig. 7)

Important notes

Stop and unplug the appliance if there is a pungent
smell or smoke. Let it cool down for 15 minutes.
Do not add excessive ingredients. Otherwise, the
ingredient mixture will become too thick or too heavy
to process.
