When towing a trailer the technically permissible laden weight may be exceeded by not more than 10% or 220 lbs (100 kg), whichever is lower provided
the operating speed is restricted to 62mph (100km/h) or less. Trailer sway control device is recommended when towing more than 1000 lbs (454 kg).
