Connection / Disconnection
• When you are connecting the
battery,
connect
terminal
first
and
negative.
• When you are disconnecting the
battery, disconnect the negative
terminal first, then the positive
terminal.
• When connecting the terminals,
take care to reposition them
correctly.
To avoid all risk of sparks
- Ensure that the consumers are
disconnected before disconnecting
or reconnecting the battery.
- When charging, stop the charger
before connecting or disconnecting
the battery.
- Do not place any metal objects on
the battery as this could cause a
short
circuit
between
terminals.

Connecting a battery charger

With the engine switched off, it is
