QSP-II Quick overview

Appendix D: PC Communications
The QUESTemp 44/46 has the flexibility to be set up and controlled through
computer software. The programmable start and stop time feature is only
accessible through the computer. The instrument also has the capability of
live data
sending
QuestSuite Professional II software. To write custom software for working with the
QUESTemp 44/46, call Quest Technologies for the programming commands.
QSP-II Quick overview
The focus of this section is to briefly introduce the following QSP-II
topics: retrieving your data, setting up parameters, and downloading
your data, and viewing your data in charts, graphs, and reports. (For
further details on QSP-II, please refer to the online Help and select
Contents.)

Retrieving your studies into QSP-II

Loading your studies entails loading the software, plugging in the
Quest supplied cable into the data connector output of the QUESTemp
44/46, and navigating to retrieve data button in QSP-II. The
software will then automatically pull your heat stress data from the
instrument into QSP-II (also called downloading).
 Retrieving your studies
1. Ensure QuestSuite Professional II software is loaded on your pc.
 Follow the install directions on the CD.
2. Plug the Quest cable into the side jack of the QUESTempº 44/46
labeled "Data".
