Connecting the Drive Shaft to the
PTO
1. Align the quick-connect coupling of the PTO
drive shaft with the output shaft of the PTO
(Figure 30).

3. While pulling back the lock collar, pull the PTO
drive-shaft yoke forward and slip the socket of
the coupling over the splines of the PTO output
shaft (Figure
4. Ensure that the lock at the quick-connect
coupling snaps into the groove of the PTO
output shaft securely.
5. Ensure that the shield is positioned over the
drive shaft yoke
6. Attach the restraint chain to a fixed part of the
tow vehicle
Important:
slack in the restraint chain so that you can
turn the machine in both directions.
