Back Box for use with Ax68R/Ax78R Fisheye cameras
DESCRIPTION
Thank you for purchasing i3's DB78BB back box. This back box is
compatible with i3's Fisheye camera series: Annexxus 68R and Annexxus
78R.
DB78BB back box facilitates the following types of installations:
- Wall Mount w/ Back Box
- Wall Mount w/ Back Box and Gooseneck Bracket (DB60)
- Pendant Pole Mount
PACKAGE CONTENTS
Ensure that the items received match those listed on the order form
and the packing slip. In addition to this guide, the back box packing box
includes:
1. DB78BB Back Box x1
2. Plastic Anchor x4
3. Round Head Screw (Tapping Type) x4
4. Machine-type screw x3
5. Mounting/Drill template x1
Note: Based on installation location and surface type, supplied
screws and anchors may not be adequate . Mounting hardware
is site-specific and may need to be supplied by the installer. It is
the installer's responsibility to ensure that the mounting surface
is suitable for installation method.
Use sealant at the locations shown on the mounting diagrams
to maintain IP66 rating when installing outside.
WALLMOUNT INSTALLATION
Step 1. Depending on the type of installation and mounting surface,
complete drilling 2-4 holes on the DB78BB back box.
Step 2. Attach mounting template to the mounting surface.
Step 3. Drill 2-4 holes matching in the mounting surface matching
the holes on the DB78BB back box. Insert wall anchors into the
drilled holes, where applicable. Use provided plastic anchors
whereever suitable.
Step 4. Secure the DB78BB back box to the mounting surface with
the appropriate screws. Use provided Round Head screws wherever
appropriate.

Step 5. Use silicone sealer as indicated
on the diagram to maintain IP66 rating
when installing outside.
Step 6. Use a Phillips screwdriver
to insert three machine-type screws
(provided) into the screw holes on the
DB78BB. Leave enough screw length
protruding to allow for the camera body
to be rotated onto the screws.

Use a Phillips screwdriver to
loosen the safety lock screw,
then grip the camera cover and
flex on one side, towards the
center. Lift UP to remove.
Step 8.
Feed the camera cabling
through the back box opening.
Slide the protruding mounting
screws through three matching
mounting screw holes on the
Ax68R/Ax78R camera body and
rotate the camera clockwise to
secure the camera body on the
mounting surface. Use a Phillips
screwdriver to tighten three
mounting screws in place.
Step 9. Replace the camera cover.
Match up the safety lock screw
with the screw hole on the camera
body, then push straight down onto
the camera cover to engage the
clips. The camera cover will re-
attach. Use a Phillips screwdriver
to re-tighten the safety lock screw.
