TROUBLE
Compressor fails to start.
Compressor shuts down.
NOTE: If a shutdown oc-
curs, press the DISPLAY
SELECT button once to
activate the L.E.D. display
table. Using the adjacent up
and down arrows, the values "PRES SENSOR FAIL" or
displayed will be those im-
mediately preceding shut-
down. Use these values
when trouble shooting a
problem.
Low system air pressure

110/120V control voltage not available.
"STARTER FAULT".
"EMERGENCY STOP".
"MAIN MTR OVER LD"
"PRES SENSOR FAIL" or
"TEMP SENSOR FAIL"
"NO CONTROL POWER"
"HIGH AIREND TEMP."
"HIGH AIR PRESS."
"LOW SUMP PRESS."
"TEMP SENSOR FAIL"
"CK MOTOR ROTATION."
"MAIN MTR OVERLD"
"STARTER FAULT."
"NO CONTROL POWER"
Compressor running in "Unload" Mode.
Controller off-line set point too low.
Dirty air filter element.
V-Belts slipping.
Air leak.
Moisture separator trap drain stuck open.
Inlet valve not fully open.
System demand exceeds compressor
delivery.
WHAT TO DO
— Check fuses. Check transformers and
wiring connections.
— Inspect contactors.
— Rotate emergency stop button to
disengage, and press"SET" button twice.
— Manually reset main motor overload relay,
and press "SET"button twice.
— Check for defective sensor, bad sensor
connection, or broken sensor wires.
— Check fuses and HAT switch
— Ensure that installation area has
adequate ventilation.
— Check coolant level. Add if required.
— Cooler cores dirty. Clean coolers.
— Check for restricted or malfunctioning
blowdown valve or minimum pressure
check valve.
— Check for air leak from tank or
blowdown piping.
— Check for defective sensor, bad sensor
connection, or broken sensor wires.
— Interchange any two line connections
(L1,L2,L3) at the starter.
— Check for loose wires.
— Check supply voltage.
— Check heater size.
— Inspect starter contactors.
— Check for loose wires.
— Check fuses and HAT switch
— Press "UNLOAD/LOAD" button.
— Press "UNLOAD/STOP" button, set off-
line set point at a higher value.
— Check filter condition. Replace
as required.
— Adjust belt tension.
— Check air system piping.
— Inspect and repair.
— Inspect and repair. Check control
system operation.
— Install larger or an additional
compressor.
