This is caused by the high viscosity of the transmission oil when it is extremely cold.

When installing the 252 Series on either the Allison or Aisin Transmission one recommendation is to install the Commercial Pump prior to Power Take-Off (PTO) installation. 2. If the Commercial Pump was ordered with the Power Take-Off it will come with a Pump Installation Kit 329296-4X. -
