NOTICE:
User is notified if radio detects non-Motorola
Solutions battery upon powering up, charging, or
removing from the charger. This feature is
applicable for IMPRES and Non-IMPRES battery.
When the radio is attached with the non-Motorola
Solutions battery, a tone sounds, display shows
Unknown Battry temporarily and battery indicator
is not shown in the radio display. Battery menu
screen displays Unknown Battry permanently and
IMPRES battery information is not shown on the
radio display.
1 Slide the battery into the radio frame until the side
latches click into place.
2 To remove the battery, turn the radio off. Squeeze
the release latches at the bottom of the battery
until the battery releases from the radio and remove
the battery from the radio.
