3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 for each additional side panel blank.
To install the top 6U blanks:
1. From the inside of the HPE Adaptive Rack Cooling System, place the blank against the IT rack, and
line up the screw holes.
2. Install three screws to hold the blank in place.
3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 for each additional top 6U blank.
Installing the HPE ARCS Auto Door Release Kit and HPE
ARCS Auto Door Controller Kit
To allow the HPE Adaptive Rack Cooling System doors to automatically open when customer-defined
temperature set points are exceeded, install the HPE ARCS Auto Door Release Kit and the HPE ARCS
Auto Door Controller Kit. Both kits must be purchased for the system to work properly. For more
information on temperature set points, see the HPE Adaptive Rack Cooling System Web Interface Guide.
