34. HOW TO EXTEND PRINTER PORT

Function: when the communication port on the main board is occupied by the
FMS8000 graphic display device, the debugging port on the CPU board
can be configured as the printer port via this operation。
Steps:
1. Press "Menu" to browse the main menu (Fig. 34-1).
Main menu displayed.
2. Press "→" to pop out the "Tool" submenu (Fig.34-2). Select "->Printer" and
press "OK", then this port is configured as a printer port.
Transfer to debug port
Same as step 1 and 2 described above, just select "->Config" and press "OK",
then this port is transferred to configure port.
Note:
The saved change will take effect immediately. Restarting the
controller doesn't change the configuration.
This operation can only be applied to the master controller.
